Road To Hana!

We took this trip a while ago but I want to put up the pics because it was so beautiful. Not too long into the drive a storm came in and it started pouring rain and the road was sooo bumpy, it felt like we were on a safari in the Jeep haha. Thankfully it was nice out for the beginning of the drive!!

Sadly, the seven sacred pools were closed because of all the rain but it was so pretty just to look at!

I looove waterfalls :)

We got to hike around at Black Sand Beach! Despite how stormy it was getting, it was still so pretty!

There was a really big blow hole in the lava flow! We all tried to stand as close as we could and look down it but it was freaky! The water would make a really loud sound just before it shot up through the hole, it was so powerful!

The ocean looked so stormy and mean, it reminded me of the Oregon coast :)

Lava Tube! It sounded really cool when the water would rush in through the lava tube and then pull back out, and all the pebbles would hit together and make really pretty sounds.

Look at that black sand!!! :)

We got to the Bamboo forest just before nightfall. It was so pretty and peaceful, we could hear a stream flowing close by. It was really slippery in there though! Due to all the rain the ground was thick with sticky mud and it started pouring rain so hard and getting dark so we hit the road!

I can't believe we did it all in one day! haha I think we drove for about 11 hours!! We planned to camp half way through but it was way to stormy. I am kind of glad for the crazy weather, it made it more of an adventure!
