A couple weeks ago, Ari and I got to ride on the Sugar Cane Train from Kahana to Lahaina! We took the one way trip which was about 45 minutes. They use water to fuel the train and we got to see them fill it up with a huge pipe! They told us that it takes 600 gallons of water for the train to make a round trip!!!!
We learned random facts about Maui too! For instance, we learned that the Lahainaluna High School in Lahaina was built in 1831 and was a private school until 1904 when they opened it to the public! It was soo fun and Ari loved waving to people on the streets :)
